It started with some beers around the campfire…

Like many active hunters, the Meatpole Outfitters group often gather for Deer Camps, Scouting Weekends, Friday Night Fish Fry, and cookouts. Our family was hosting a Scouting Weekend over the Summer of 2021 for Jamo and some of his hunting buddies.

Out at the fire pit in the front lawn, the group gathered in their usual spots in a circle around the summer campfire after a day of scouting. They shared many laughs and a great deal of beers.. and before they knew it, Meatpole Outfitters was brought to life.

Our group had decided they wanted to make an official meatpole in their hunters camp for the upcoming deer season. Then what started as a funny, late-night chant of “Meatpole” around the campfire, developed into an idea for a business. Not long after, Meatpole Outfitters was formed, apparel was made, and the social media presence grew.
